Portal - First Time User Registration for Students and Parents
PORTAL INFORMATION AND INSTRUCTIONS FOR FIRST TIME USERS
As technology advances, there are many educational platforms that we use to enhance student learning.
The PHS Student and Parent Sentral Portal is one site where students can log in and access the following:
PHS Sentral Portal
Google Classroom
PHS website
ClickView
OnGuard
Parents and students are also able to access their School Reports, NAPLAN results and Attendance Data. This enables the students to take ownership of their progress and learning, as well as allow parents to be able to monitor their child's progress.
Important Registration Information for First Time Users
New Year 7 Parents/Caregivers/Students – By Week 2 of Term 1, an email is sent with the Unique Access Key. If you did not receive one, please email the school at pittwater-h.school@det.nsw.edu.au.
New Students enrolled to the school during term - Parents/Caregivers and students will have been sent an email with the Unique Access Key prior to commencement. If you did not receive one, please email the school at pittwater-h.school@det.nsw.edu.au.
Instructions for Students and Parents:
1) Please go to the Create a Portal User Account using the Google Chrome browser (other browsers may not work as well).
2) On the Create Portal User Account page, please read the following for the correct information to enter:
a) In the Email box:
Students - use your own DEC email address e.g. jane.smith@education.nsw.gov.au. If you don’t have one, go to Frequently Asked Questions.
Parents - must use the email address that you provided to the school during the enrolment process.
b) In the Password box, create a new secure password – DO NOT USE THE ACCESS KEY AS YOUR PASSWORD.
c) In the Password (Confirm) box, please confirm the password.
d) In the First Name Box, please put your first name.
e) In the Last Name Box, please put in your last name.
f) Now select the Create your Account button.
You will now be taken to another screen.
3. Enter the UniqueAccess Key from your emailed Parent and Student Portal Letter.
4. SUCCESS! You now have access to the PHS Student and Parent Sentral Portal. You will not be required to use the Access Key again so you can ignore the Access Key box from now on.
Frequently Asked Questions
Do I need to use the Unique Access Key every time I log in?
No. The Unique Access Key is for registration purposes only. It is not your password.
We did not receive a Parent and Student Portal Letter with the Unique Access Key
Students can go to the front office before school or during their lunch breaks to get a new letter. Parents can email the school at pittwater-h.school@det.nsw.edu.au
Student has forgotten their @education.nsw.gov.au address
The student needs to visit the IT Department in the Library who can assist with this.

There are some missing content items in the Portal
Please download Google Chrome. Sentral has advised that other internet browsers such as Internet Explorer and Mozilla Firefox have been known to not display all the text or links available to everyone on the site.
My email address is not working
You may have changed your email address since completing the enrolment form. Please email the school with your updated email address and let us know you need to access the Portal. We will then resend the information you need.

Parent full name
Student full name
Short description of issue e.g. what stage of the registration process is causing issues
A contact number that you can be reached on.
