ClickView

ClickView is an educational video platform that we have invested in as a school. Online access to our ClickView library means that every student can access videos easily at home for research, homework and assignments. Also, teachers can ‘flip the classroom', asking students to view video content at home, followed by quality discussions and higher-order thinking and problem-solving in class.

ClickView's Curriculum Library includes 2,000+ curriculum-relevant titles which have been mapped to the Australian Curriculum, and includes additional resources to help support student learning and improve learning outcomes in our school.

Teaching 21st Century learners to passively recall facts through lower-order thinking activities is often frustrating. ClickView has interactive videos which addresses this by enabling students to think in a range of ways and at varying levels of complexity. This also allows the student to shift from lower order thinking to higher order thinking!

Teachers also use the ClickView 24-7 free-to-air TV recording service to find, edit and keep TV programmes they want to share with their students.

All students can access ClickView Online by following these steps:

  1. Go to this link:  Online.clickview.com.au
  2. Enter your NSW student email address (example: john.smith@education.nsw.gov.au)
  3. Select your school (Pittwater High School)
  4. Enter your student portal username and password to login
  5. Search for videos or look in your subject folders

Student access is restricted to videos that are appropriately rated for their particular age group, according to the Australian Classification Standards.

If students are having difficulty accessing this resource, please see the IT team based in the Learning Centre (Library).
